Founder & Lead Game Designer

Tagen is the founder and lead game designer of Kora Games. While teaching in Nova Scotia, Canada, Tagen created the initial version of Battleline for his students. This inspired him to establish Kora Games in 2023.

Driven by a passion for history and gaming, Tagen aims to make Battleline a valuable educational tool in schools. He believes miniature wargames can make learning fun and enhance a student's learning experience. Tagen's vision and dedication continue to guide Kora Games as we strive to bring Battleline to classrooms worldwide.

Gwen Churchill

Game Designer

Gwen Churchill is a dedicated game designer at Kora Games. A lifelong wargamer, Gwen draws inspiration from renowned titles like Warhammer and One Page Rules. Her deep passion for the hobby shines through in her work, particularly in the creation of many of the units in Battleline.

Gwen is also instrumental in refining the game mechanics, ensuring an engaging and balanced experience for players. Her expertise and enthusiasm are vital to Kora Games, helping to bring Battleline to life and making it accessible and enjoyable for both new hobbyists and experienced gamers.
